About

Designer who ships, developer who sketches.

I started out as a print designer, got pulled into a redesign that needed CSS, and never really went back. These days I work end to end: research and wireframes at the start, then the actual components in the browser.

That means I care about the boring parts — empty states, error messages, what happens on a slow train with one bar of signal. Good interfaces are mostly just unglamorous decisions made carefully.
